For every scientific mind that dared to push the limits of exploration, there was a protector at their side -- or so there should have been. That will be the role of any sentinels willing to partner up with a skald/vanguard/scout who would like to further look into the anomaly of the infected cave.
As a sentinel, your role will be one of protection. To help ensure this, Heimdall has gifted each of his charges with a simple spell that creates a magic barrier across the skin of investigators. A shimmer appears on their skin, and they'll be able to enter the cave without feeling the effects of any blighted magic. The spell must be cast outside of the cave, and any investigator must leave before the magic wears off. Each sentinel can cast this spell three times and it will last a total of 30 minutes.
