I'd like your take on what a traveller like me needs to know. I know what's in the books and that our worlds are in danger. But what else is there? What do you think's commonly missed?

It is often a struggle getting Travellers to realise that this war effort is not only for our sake. Winning hear means that their own worlds are also saved.

I'm sorry for any discomfort you might be feeling -- it is my hope you'll adjust to it, as you adjust to our world.

The ability to shift forms is unique not only to you but to your world, the essence of which different from Asgard's. To bring Travelers here safely, we have to change you so that you are compatible, and in this case that involved choosing a single form. This form needed to be able to use the bracelets, but to appear fully human would be excluding the wolf part of your identity. I felt something in between would be more appropriate.

[ So it was to make him happy? It's true, had he been fully human, Ame would feel really awful about it. he is not a human and he does prefer to be something close to what he is than to be the opposite.

So the Guardians and I want to have a holiday celebration now that there's snow everywhere. I know you guys don't celebrate Christmas, at least but I had some questions for you.

We want to give everyone in Asgard a gift but we need a little magic to help. Would you and the other gods be willing to help? Also, where can I find a reindeer?

[ Then he considers the bigger question... a gift for everyone, normally, wouldn't be too lofty a holiday goal... with their current resources it's more of a challenge. Heimdall assumes Jamie wants personalized things, in this case. He taps a finger against the side of his neck, thinking. ]

We're asking all the gods already! So far I've got Baldr and Loki to agree to help and Hel will help if Odin does. Sandy's asking some of the gods too but I don't know what's going on with them yet.

[She's never spoken to Heimdall, but all the same, she needs to. She is, after all, trying to get a hold of all the gods.]

Hello Mr. Heimdall, I'm not entirely sure if you know who I am... [Wait, don't all the gods know who everyone is? Never mind.]

Oh ah, my name is Alice Liddell. I'm contacting you because I had an idea of perhaps a council where the gods and all the travellers met in a council of sorts. But to have that, the gods have to want to have it first. Which is why I'm contacting you, you see, to see if you are amiable to the notion. It wouldn't do to bring it up if the gods want nothing to do with it.

[ that's the first greeting that comes to this. She had smashed three glasses and a vase by now and she hates talking to the gods but she can't make sense of Arthur's departure. ]

[ it comes off as an angry shout more than anything. She will not discuss her heartbreak with the gods. ]

She stood in front of Heimdall's shrine and left an offering, along with a note that said 'please contact me off the network when you have time.' It was signed with her name.]
